"In the Position 3 race, Mo Malakoutian had 83% of the vote against Alex Tsimerman.
Current Councilmember Jeremy Barksdale isn't seeking reelection. Malakoutian is a senior program manager at Amazon and a University of Washington affiliate assistant professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Tsimerman has run unsuccessfully for different positions in the Seattle area and shows up at many public meetings to berate elected officials."
